Often when I enter the ‘wedding arena’ of a morning, a bridal attendant or mum will propose that the room is cleared of any ‘mess’ prior to the first frame being captured. By return, I’ll suggest that we let the room be. This is the real story of a day, clutter included! I love this photograph. Yes the light kisses the subject neatly, this three dimensional aspect of natural light capture is indicative of my style. Equally, and it’s subtle, I like that the bride’s mum is getting busy with cleaning. There is a busy nature to this photograph that relates the morning’s activity. ISO 500, exposure compensation -1/3, 1/800, F1.4 using the prime 24mm lens from Canon.
